So, I posted a poll on the front page of my blog. The poll asked what yall would like me to blog about next. The choices were hair, skin, fashion, or other. Hair won....Whoop! I realized once the results came back on the poll how broad the answer 'hair' is.... There is many ways one can go about that topic... so I'll start with the basics of my hair.
My Hair....
The reason I'm listing the characteristics of my hair is to help people realize how much different my hair may be to theirs. A person whose hair is thick, coarse, or curly most likely will not achieve the same result or look that my hair will.
For example: The only thing my hair will curl with is a wand, curling irons will not curl my hair. In a blog that is coming up...*hint hint*, I'll be using only wands, due to my hair simply not holding a curl with a curling iron. I'll also use lots of backcombing (teasing) to help achieve volume, and my ALL TIME FAVORITE styling product. BTW.... there is wands of all shapes and sizes, which give different looks.
Another thing girls.... we all want what we don't have. I wish I had thick, curly hair.... but I don't so I have to cope with what I have. The tricks and tips I have work on my hair, and hair similar to mine. The way I curl my hair works on my sister's hair (coarse, curly, thick) so there is hope! This picture was taken after my graduation ceremony. She saw the way I was curling my hair that night and decided to try it on hers! It worked! Ignore the fake smiles, and shiny skin.... but this is the same curling technique side by side. Complete different hair types! Of course I had extensions in to help with volume, my sister had extensions in as well.
This picture is coming out blurry which originally isn't.....ugh. Still getting the hang of this.
This is a teaser about the next post....mostly due to me not having a good camera at my dorm. During Thanksgiving I'll be posting more! The next post about hair, will be about how I achieved the curl i got in this picture. There is a skin post coming up as well!
